What’s the BEST Axie Infinity Class?

In this analysis we look into the classes being played in the hit crypto game Axie Infinity and analyse what makes them great.

Class Overview

Axie is similar to Pokemon in a way. It has 9 classes which express weaknesses and strengths towards the other classes. We’ll see later on that classes also have similar stats, meaning they’ll often fill similar roles in a team.

The tanky classes are the Plant/Reptile/Dusk, who can have a large amount of HP and decent Morale. The speedster classes are Aquatic/Bird/Dawn as they have high Speed and decent Morale and Skill for the damage output. The core damage dealers are Beast/Bug/Mech as they have high Morale and otherwise average stats.

Of course, within the classes stats vary based on the parts and the stats don’t always dictate the role of the Axie, but it’s good to keep in mind these basic properties.

Classes also affect a damage multiplier when they match the cards being played, so naturally you want to have the cards being played on the Axie class which matches them.
