Thanks for the polite response and feedback — it’s really appreciated! What you haven’t shared, many others have, so hopefully readers can catch that in the comments. I might try to edit the article to make this clearer too, as you suggest.

Fully agree with you that DataStudio doesn’t solve all the data problems that come with a large organisation (now working in one myself) and e.g. Looker is a great alternative for larger scale.

That said, I’m still a firm believer that the product does solve its specific use-case very well, with various hacks which can be used to expand it out further. I think there are also many organisations (similar to my old one) which would benefit from using this product over something more complex like Tableau, and I hope this article can reach them.
