How to generate leads for any B2B business using web scraping

“How do I generate leads?” is a question that’s at the back of many founder’s mind and it’s no easy feat. Generating a good quality pipeline will do wonders for your sales figures and help you to grow a business fast. For startups, it is crucial. What if I could tell you I could generate cold leads for any job, industry you want to target and get you 10% of those people responding?

It’s a game of numbers, the more leads, the more conversions.

In one of my previous roles we were looking to grow out our B2B leads and thinking about how best we could achieve rapid expansion into new markets without spending huge on marketing. By analysing our current customer base, we had found that there were certain types of clients who had a significantly higher recurrence and basket size than our typical customer. In order to achieve the growth we wanted, we needed to find these people fast.

We tried cold-calling but the results weren’t great, it takes a lot of time to filter through all the possible contents and we were often blocked very quickly as our customers had busy schedules. To get around this we turned to cold email, with some added tricks.
