Business Automation, The Easy Way
Using outsourcing as your automation can save you time and money in our tech-focused world
I’ve always loved automating business processes (like, weirdly so) but there are some things that just can’t be, or shouldn’t be automated. For smaller companies or startups, your resources need to be invested very efficiently and often there are cases where writing a full-blown script or launching a new feature just isn’t the best option. Instead, you should leverage international workers by outsourcing your projects as simple tasks. In doing so you can get moving much quicker and save on pricey setup costs.
Take the LinkedIn hack I talked about here, due to restrictions from the content publishers, simple programmatic access was denied after querying the top results. Many websites take similar approaches such as Carousell or Instagram which quickly limit you when trying to crawl too much information. Granted, with enough hard work, you can probably write something to get the job done, but how long would that take? Would it be worth it?
There are many other cases where automation can be implemented such as reporting or operational procedures, and while scalability must always be considered, the payoff in the short term from outsourcing can definitely be worth it.
